During this time participants will have an opportunity to:
- Study Bowen family systems theory
- Apply theory to clinical work and
family relationships
- View self in the context of
family-of-origin
Readings assigned in advance will
be used to stimulate thinking and increase knowledge of Bowen theory.
CONSULTATION COMPONENT
(10:30 - noon)
In small groups participants have the opportunity
to:
- Present
clinical cases
- Family
of origin work
- Other system dilemmas
Consultation will focus on assisting in the effort to apply theoretical concepts in personal, professional
and clinical arenas.
